I’m so proud to celebrate two years as a member of the Made in Mathews Studio Tour! Being part of this wonderful community of local artists and makers has been such a rewarding experience for me and for Lisa Capen Quilts.
The Studio Tour is a wonderful opportunity to open our creative spaces, share what we do, and connect with people who appreciate handmade art and the stories behind it. For me, it’s a chance to share my love of quilting in all its forms—from traditional fabric and thread to painting, mixed media, art quilts, and all of the creative experimenting that happens along the way.
One of my favorite parts of being involved with Made in Mathews is the sense of community. There’s something very special about being surrounded by other local artists, each working in their own medium and bringing their own ideas and personality to their work.
After two years, I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Made in Mathews Studio Tour and grateful for everyone who has stopped by, talked quilts and art with me, supported local artists, and followed along with my creative journey. I’m looking forward to another year of creating, sharing, and welcoming visitors into the colorful world of Lisa Capen Quilts!
